I have a paper due on Monday and here I am updating my DA journal and uploading a chapter. Yes, this makes me the most responsible person in the world.

The biggest challenge for this chapter was the names. Darn it. I should have thought about that when I decided to name three characters "Cruentus". A novel is not a manga. I have to keep reminding myself that.
Also, DA suddenly spazzed on me while I was uploading the chapter so now it won't display right. =_=

Reading this story--especially the scene that ended up in Chapter Three cause this chapter was, apparently, too large--a friend of mine asked me if it was a yaoi or a shonen ai, at the very least. I was actually a bit surprised by the question. I didn't mean for it to be. I've written stories with such implications, but this one, it wasn't really on my mind.
Haa... I suppose the KuroFai/TouYuki/58/JuuKazu addictions are seeping into my non-fanfic writings.

This chapter was meant to introduce the people that Cru grew up with. This has a lot of minor characters in it. Also, this chapter has the objective of explaining things about blood skills and Cru's power. I hope it wasn't too confusing.
